1. Make a Dorset Apple Cake – Recipe supplied

2. Make a Plate of 3 Rock Cakes - Recipe supplied

3. Decorating a Cake – decorate any approximately 10-inch cake with a Jurassic Theme e.g. Coastal features; dinosaurs

4. CHILDREN ONLY (14 years and under): Plate of 3 Dinosaur biscuits – own recipe and design

 

B.  GARDEN VEGETABLES AND FRUIT

1. The longest Runner bean

2. 3 Vegetables – can be a mixture or 3 of the same

3. Fruit – Plate of 3 Orchard Fruits – All the same variety

4. Plate of 5 tomatoes – can be a mixture of varieties and size

C.  FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS

1. An arrangement to fit the theme of Jurassic Coast. The arrangement can be a miniature or larger arrangement up to a maximum of 30cm (12”) high and wide. One bunch of purchased flowers may be used in conjunction with garden flowers and foliage and accessories relevant to the theme can be used.

 

D.  FLOWERS

1. ​Single stem of your favourite flower (Judged by public vote)

2. 3 Annual Cosmos

3. A container of mixed garden flowers

 

E.  CRAFT

1. ​Photograph on the theme of the Jurassic Coast

2. Something you have created , does not have to fit the theme. If you have made it then bring it along.

F.  CHILDREN'S GALLERY (14 YEARS AND UNDER)

1. Any type of craft such as a drawing, painting, collage, or digital design based on the Jurassic Coast or the Flintstones cartoon.

2. Please put your age on your entry.

3. Age is taken into consideration when judging.

4. All children’s entries receive prizes.
