No pre-registration required, just bring your entries to the Hall at the times stated above.

No Exhibitor may have more than 1 entry per class.

Cookery

  1. Make a French Yoghurt Cake - recipe supplied

  2. Make a plate of 3 cookies - own recipe

  3. Decorating a cake - decorate any, approximately, 10-inch cake with an Olympic/Paralympic theme. Judging will be on the decoration, not the cake. You can illustrate a sport, flag, rings etc - use your imagination!​

Flower Arrangement

  1. A petite arrangement, 10cm to 23cm (4" to 9") high and wide

Any type of craft such as a drawing, painting, collage, or digital design based on a Mascot for the Olympics or Paralympics.

You can use the Paris Olympic Mascot (shown below) or invent your own Mascot.

Please put your age on your entry, as

this will be taken into consideration

when judging.​

The Paris Olympic and Paralympic

Mascots are based on the Phrygian Cap.​

Flowers

  1. Single stem of your favourite flower (Judged by public vote)

  2. 3 Dahlias - can be the same or mixed variety

  3. Container of mixed garden flowers

Craft

  1. Photograph on the theme of Sports and Circles

  2. Something you have created that can be seen as fitting the theme of Olympics or France.

Garden Vegetables and Fruit

  1. The longest runner beans

  2. 3 vegetables - can be a mixture or 3 of the same 

  3. Fruit - plate of 3 Orchard Fruits - all the same variety

  4. Plate of 5 tomatoes - can be a mixture of varieties and size

The Deering Award
will go to the
Winner of Class B2
The Greenland Trophy will go to the
Winner of Class C
All proceeds from the show will be used to support local charities and the Village Hall.
